The Ladder 5 Cross-Country Challenge is a 5 kilometer endurance adventure run in the Wolfe's Pond Park Trail System in Staten Island, New York.
Runners will be honoring members of FDNY Ladder 5 who died in the line of duty on 9-11-2001 at the World Trade Center and from the summer of 2007 at the Deutsche Bank Building.
Now we run to show our support for these heroes.
As in years past we will have a full array of children's activites and great live music. And who can forget the now famous Bar-B-Que. So make sure you clear your calandar and bring your beach and picnic gear for a great day at one of NYC's most beautiful parks.
